Thursday again...

Okay so it is Thursday again and time for another awesome sketch over at Pages In Time. Plus there are tons of challenges going on that ya'll should check out...lots of prizes to be won!!!!! I did this lo using this weeks sketch, plus I entered the "Pile it On" challenge by 2amscrapper, which lets me combine 4 challenges in one...how awesome is that!??!!

It's a little late but well worth the wait. Hey, look at me rhyming!!!!!!! Anyway there is a brand new sketch up at Pages In Time and it is a beauty!!!!!

Here is my take on the sketch... The pic is of my dd, Bella. We were at my two son's t-ball game and she was so incredibly filthy but she looked so sweet!!!! I have been wanting to use the pp for the Girls Paperie for some time, and I thought this pic would look perfect with it. SO I jumped in head first and did it, and I am extremely pleased with the way it turned out!!!! I only wish I could take good pics!!! UUUUGGGHHHH!!!!!!! They never turn out good enough to show just how lovely all the details are. Oh well hope you enjoy it anyway!!!

August's monthly challenge early...

I will be out of town August 1st and so I am posting my monthly challenge over at Pages In Time early. All participants names will be put into a random drawing for a small rak from me Sept. 1st. So come play along and have some fun!!!

This month's challenge is to make a "Romantic" lo. You can see the example lo in the style list in the style group.

Color Combo: Light blue, silver, and creme. You can use as many colors as you wish but you must include the one's mentioned to be eligable for the RAK.

Elements: pearls, flowers, anything "fussy cut", and lace. your lo must include these elements to be entered in the drawing for the RAK.

Here is my take on this style of lo...

Remember, keep things soft and feminine and you should be able to pull off a romantic lo just fine!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!

A little late but still amazing!!!!

I'm a little late posting this weeks sketch because I have been away from my computer and was unable to log on to my blog, but here it is and I promise it was definatly worth the wait!!!! Thought ya'll would find this interesting

I walked out of work the other night and this storm cloud was directly above my head...I thought it was one of the prettiest things ever, and so I raced home to get some pics of it before it was gone. It truly amazes me how awesome storms can be. Perhaps I should have been a storm chaser!!!
